Mexican Buttermilk Fried Chicken

600g Nichols chicken drumsticks
500mls Meander Valley buttermilk
1 cup plain flour
Old El Paso Taco Seasoning Mix
Pinch of Tasman Sea Salt
600mls canola oil
Step 1 in a bowl add chicken and pour buttermilk over the top. Place in the fridge to marinate for at least 30 minutes.
Step 2 in a bowl combine plain flour, taco seasoning and salt. Coat drumsticks in seasoning and place into a pot of oil at 160°C. Fry for approximately 5 to 10 minutes or until batter is golden brown and crispy.
